FHE the other night was so dang fun. Dan and I were laughing really hard because halfway through the night Dan said, "We should do this like once a week." He was totally serious. I reminded him, "yeah, pretty good suggestion." He quickly realized that we are supposed to be doing this every week. We laughed. We try really hard with FHE, but it usually ends up being a lesson from the nursery manual right before bed. We are trying to do better...water fun night gave us a kick in the pants to get more serious about a lesson and good quality family fun time. It feels good. We even did tricks. Don't be jealous about my leaping skills and Dan's twisting in the air skills...it takes practice. Love this family.

Dana, you and Bubba are such great and sweet parents. Everytime I read your blog, I always get something out of it to make me be a better mom. I wish we lived closer to you guys. Your sweet little boys are adorable. I wish we could all play together.

Baby time!

So, I had my first appointment today to confirm that baby #2 is on its way. Sure enough, a quick little heartbeat was going strong. We can't wait, well, actually, I think we can. It will be much easier to wait for this one seeing that we have an 18 month old that keeps us very busy, but we are really excited for it to come around December 2nd ish. We are really excited for Mason to be a big brother because he is so sweet with babies these days and seems to actually enjoy them. I am 12 weeks and feeling pretty rotten. I guess that just helps me know that things are going okay with baby. Poor Mason has been watching alot of TV in the mornings and has not had as much play time with mom. It makes me sad, but you do what you gotta do to get by. Deep down i kind of want another boy, so I am pretty confident that it is a girl. Dan doesn't care at all, and I really don't either, but for some reason girls scare me. We are excited to see what we are going to get this time ...

Yes, it's true, we are having another boy. I always imagined having two little boys running around and we are so excited for Mason to have a little bro. There are so many fun things to look forward to with having little boys so close. Can't wait for all of the baseball games, basketball games, guitar and drum lessons.....or ballet lessons if they so choose. Whatever the case, we can't wait to have two little boys.

I am just wondering if anyone has suggestions for best gifts for a 2 year old boy. We don't buy toys very often so I always want them to be really good. What are the best toys out there. I am thinking a play kitchen? Play food? I just want to know if there is anything that Mason should not be going without. K- please help.
