Diamonds are a Girls best friend!

I just thought I would do a quick post here because we just got Dan's job package in the mail today. It was exciting to read through the benefits and holidays and bonuses and all that type of stuff, but it got really exciting as I got to the employee perks section. Apparently there is a factory outlet that we get a discount at and then a sweet discount at the retail stores. That got me really excited, but then I got to the REALLY good part......Diamonds at cost? What?....I read it a few more times and it is really true. I am actually not really into expensive jewelry much, but I don't care who you are, the thought of diamonds at cost can make any girl giddy. Dan found it amusing that that is the first benefit I told him about when he walked in the room. Go O.C. Tanner!!Way to keep the wives of your employees happy!!

Holy Buckets! We Sold our House!!

Wow!! This week has been a whirlwind. It is crazy to think that 6 days ago, we didn't even know we had a job and now we know we have a great job, Dan got to quit Qwest, something he has been daydreaming about for 2 years, and we accepted an offer on our house. We stuck the For Sale sign in on Wednesday and had an Open House on Friday and Saturday. There has been three people who want to put an offer on the home, so we are trying out the first one to see if everything works out. If not, we have great backups. Once again, we are so very blessed and are feeling quite humbled by the whole experience. We will be moving to Orem next weekend and then moving all of our stuff to a storage unit when the house closes. So, I guess I better get packing!! Wahoo!! OH, and here are some pics of the finished product.

Holy Buckets! We got a job!!!!!!

Well, after one month of waiting and hoping and having anxiety attacks, Dan got a call today from O.C. Tanner in SLC and he got the job that he never thought he could get right out of college. He applied on a whim and never thought he would even get an email back. Well, I guess those 4 interviews really paid off. We are SOOOO excited for Dan to be able to quit Qwest and start doing something that he can really use his knowledge for. I am so beyond proud of my sweet husband for working so hard to find a good job. We are so blessed to have been turned down for numerous not so good positions so that we would be around for this amazing one. The Lord works in amazing ways and He has really out done Himself this time. Thank you everyone for encouraging us all along the way. Thank you Jeff for the Access tutorial that helped him through interview #2 and thank you James for helping Dan clear his head and giving him great ideas to help him through interview #3. He could not have done it without...

Nothing new, still just a cute baby

I haven't posted in awhile, but that is because there is just nothing new in our neck of the woods. We do, however, always have an adorable little boy to post pics of. We are trying to get Mason used to dogs because we have a few in our family that we see alot. He would cry and freak out at the beginning, but he is slowly getting used to them. This pic was taken somewhere in between. He wants to touch her, but is so scared. Here are just a bunch of random cute pics from that last couple of weeks too. Mason and Cousin Elsie. He loves her.....and outweighs her. Mason loves giving kisses, and Elsie loves getting them. Mason and dad snuggling He is mesmerized by technology and always tries to look at the camera after we take a picture so he can see himself. Mason giving me a big ole smooch. I realize I look gross in this pic, but I am willing to sacrifice.
