The Camera Has Arrived!!!!

Image
Today I heard that much anticipated hard knock on the door that I was just hoping I would hear. You know the knock, that UPS man knock. I jumped up and ran to the door and there sat a little box full of camera. Yahoo, it's here, I can now take millions of pictures of my child again. So, here are some of the pics of the day. I thought I would tell you all about a typical day in our life via photos. So, here goes. I wake up to this little happy face...talk about starting the day off right! We cuddle and snuggle (testing sepia color option). Breakfast Pre-school (Mason is very careful not to talk uless he is called on, what a good boy (testing black and white color option) Start the laundry folding and put the clothes on our heads. I do the robot (testing out the speed shot setting...sure enough we have 30 pics of me doing the robot, atleast it works. and no we don't eat Cinnamon toast crunch for dinner, I just went to Smiths and bought a ton of cereal. I love it for dessert, but...

We like the Jazz, unless the Suns are in town!!!

Mason in his Suns gear So, Dan went to his first NBA game on Monday and I think he liked it a little. We had such a fun night. We have been wanting to go to a Jazz game since we live 10 minutes away and we are okay with cheering for the Jazz....unless Steve Nash and Shaq are in town, then we hate the Jazz and boo them really loudly. Growing up in Alaska made it very difficult for Dan to go to an NBA game, so we are going to really try hard to get to them regularly and take advantage of how close we are. There is so much to do in SLC that we are really trying to enjoy it. This weekend is zoo day if the weather permits. Anyway, so, before the game started we went down really close and waited for the players to come out. It was so fun to see the guys we love so close up. Our camera has not arrived, so we borrowed one :( (I want my new camera). thanks Erika. Then we walked clear up to the tippy top of the Arena and watched from our real seats. Mason was perfect and we just had a great nigh...
Mason LOVES our new Guitar Hero World Tour, with the drums and stuff. He screams when he can't drum, so we had to go buy him his own drum sticks. This boy can rock!

So many presents, so little time!

Well, Mason opened his presents ate his cake and he is officially one. Well, he actually wasn't into the cake at all. He is very careful about not eating too many sweets, maybe he could teach mom a lesson. Doug and Marie came over and we had fun just watching his reactions. He was very serious, just taking it all in. Here are a few videos. No sound, but still good. Mason carefully eating his cake, or just touching it really. Doug and Marie got him a drum because he loves ours so much. Thanks guys! Present time!! Holy Cow guys, this car moves!!!Mason got his first remote control car.

My little sweetness wrapped up in a little boy is 1!!!

He is ONE!! My little tiny baby boy is one year old and he is still just as sweet as can be. He definitely is getting one year old attitude, but even his tantrums where he lies on the floor and kicks can’t overpower his little sweet, fun personality. My favorite things about Mas are his sweet, very wide open mouthed kisses that you have to keep a towel nearby to clean up. I love his sense of humor. This boy knows how to have fun and make us laugh. I love that he carries his drumsticks around and drums on everything. I love how he barrel rolls across the floor instead of crawling (FYI barrel rolling, way faster than crawling). I love that when Dan comes home from work, Mason gives him a big kiss and then me, and then Dan and then me again. I love that he loves family hug time and knows exactly how to snuggle us just right. I love that he loves to sneak up on me with dad and “get me” (you know that one year old tickling that just ends up hurting because they just scratch you in the same ...

Why the heck am I in this costume....Doc?

We had a great Halloween at Doug and Marie's and they let us borrow their camera so this post gets some pics. Mason was Bugs Bunny for Halloween and he didn't like one second of it. He never cried once we put on his costume, but he did not crack one single smile the entire time. He just looked at us like we were ridiculous for dressing him in such a silly outfit. We gave him a carrot to munch on which the ward members at the Halloween party loved. He was just as cute as ever but there are no smiling pics. We are still doing great here and are in the process of deciding which camera to buy. So new pics will be coming as soon as we buy a camera.
