So, I love my mom! My mom is the best person I know. How many people can really say that? I think about that fact daily. I am lucky enough to have a mom that cooked meals from scratch. I am lucky enough to have a mom that made bread from scrath alot. I am lucky enough to have a mom that let me make little bread boys out of the extra dough. I am lucky enough to have a mom that didn't get frustrated with me when I woke her up all the time at night until I was pretty old. I get frustrated with Mason almost every time he comes into our room in the middle of the night...unless he is sick of course. I always think to myself "how did she do it so kindly?" I am never as kind as she was in the middle of the night. I am lucky enough to have a mom who was home when I got home from school and always wanted to hear about my day. So, we all know that healthy eating promotes healthy bodies, but why don't we really believe it. I am giving the lesson on the Word of Wisdom on Sunday and so I have been doing some reading on nutrition and stuff. I LOVE to study nutrition. It is so fascinating that by taking certain things into our bodies we can prevent and recover from illness. If we are struggling with constant infection, increase vitamin A, nerve issues we need to increase Vitamin B......and so on. Amazingly Vitamin A has proven to cure infection and prevent it in the future. What? Yeah! Do your kids have lots of ear infections, eye infections? Increase their Vitamin A. ARe you on the way to pick up a supplement? Well, okay, but why not just pick up a carrot? Your body will absorb the vitamins so much better and we know there are no negative effects of veggies.
