New House Pics

Image
So, for those of you who don't know, we are buying the house that we love. We got them to come down some more and we just went for it. We are so excited. As part of the deal, we are closing on April 2nd so we don't have to pay as much double rent. This is by far the best home we have seen in our price range. It is move in ready, but we have alot of time before we will move in, so we can paint and do lots of touch up stuff. We are so excited to have a home of our own. Here are some pics of it with their stuff in it. She has good taste, so hopefully I will be able to make it this cute too. Living room Mason's room. We will paint it a cute blue (any suggestions, we aren't sure yet) Downstairs bathroom Upstairs bathroom Living Room 1st part of Master Bd. (there is a room attached to it where they have their bed, we will make it a nursery for now) view from the deck. big flat backyard, love it downstairs family rm. Dining/Kitchen

Family pictures with newborns are always an adventure. Our newborns tend to struggle with the first family pic. If you remember Mason's first fam pic, you will know what I am talking about. Anyway, here are some funny and some cute, mainly funny. I love my sweet, cute boys, crosseyed or not. Go on, click on it to make it bigger, it will be worth it

Little Logey

Yesterday we blessed Logan. What an awesome day!! Dan gave Logan a very sweet blessing and then he just fell asleep in my arms for the rest of the meeting (Logan, not Dan). We had a bunch of family and friends there and had them over for pancakes after. It was just so nice and peaceful and fun all day. Thank you everyone for coming to enjoy our boys with us. You all made it a very memorable day for us. Logan is 10 weeks old today and we have loved almost every minute of it!! Oh what a different little boy he is than Mason. Don't get me wrong, Mason was a great baby, but I had nothing to compare it to. Logan falls asleep in your arms without nursing, he can fall asleep in the swing, he sleeps for 4 hours at a time, he takes awesome naps during the day....thank you sweet baby for letting your mommy not be so crazy this time around. He is so not demanding...unless he is hungry and then you better get out of his way or he will get milk out of you one way or another. He smiles so easily...

Bountiful Baskets

So, I have been really trying to figure out a way to feed my family more fruits and veggies for cheaper. I need to cut our food budget so we can get into a house and I just didn't know how without cutting healthy food....thank you Bountiful Baskets. So, I was looking at my friend's blog and she did a post very similar to this, so I tried it out and we LOVE it!!! You pay 16.50 every 2 weeks and you get a random bunch of fruits and veggies. We pick it up on Saturdays in a laundry basket. It is so fun to see what you will get each week. They say it is about $50 worth of produce for that price. It forces you to try new things. For example, we got 5 grapefruits the first time we did it. I don't like grapefruit. Guess what....now I do. I ate them all and I loved them. This week we got asparagus which I am really excited about because I love it but never buy it. WE also got a full pineapple....YUM. Anyway, the site for it is http://www.bountifulbaskets.org/ . It is horribly confus...
