Awww, finally!

So, Mason and Logan both had appointments with our new family doctor today. We have been searching and trying them out and just haven't been a good fit with any. We finally found one that I think is going to be great. I called the office and the receptionist said, "We have four physicians, Dr. takes forever to see so which of the others do you want?" I said, "yeah, him, Dr. it is." So, we waited and it was worth it. It is amazing what really good social skills can do for a Dr. He was kind but let me know his opinions and views in a very, "we are on the same level" type way. He was very respectful of my decisions and very nicely helped me choose immunizations to give both kids. I understand why he is hard to see. Anyway, both kids are healthy and doing great. Logan is in the 97th percentile for height and weight and I am convinced the kids who are fatter than him belong to NFL players because, come on, he's ginormous. He is rolling over and wants to crawl really bad. He is so jolly and fun and squishy and cute and we all just love him so much. I'm ready for more!! Aside from the whole giving birth thing. I'm not ready for that yet, so I will just enjoy the sweet little ones I have now. Having two is really fun!

Baby time!

So, I had my first appointment today to confirm that baby #2 is on its way. Sure enough, a quick little heartbeat was going strong. We can't wait, well, actually, I think we can. It will be much easier to wait for this one seeing that we have an 18 month old that keeps us very busy, but we are really excited for it to come around December 2nd ish. We are really excited for Mason to be a big brother because he is so sweet with babies these days and seems to actually enjoy them. I am 12 weeks and feeling pretty rotten. I guess that just helps me know that things are going okay with baby. Poor Mason has been watching alot of TV in the mornings and has not had as much play time with mom. It makes me sad, but you do what you gotta do to get by. Deep down i kind of want another boy, so I am pretty confident that it is a girl. Dan doesn't care at all, and I really don't either, but for some reason girls scare me. We are excited to see what we are going to get this time ...

Yes, it's true, we are having another boy. I always imagined having two little boys running around and we are so excited for Mason to have a little bro. There are so many fun things to look forward to with having little boys so close. Can't wait for all of the baseball games, basketball games, guitar and drum lessons.....or ballet lessons if they so choose. Whatever the case, we can't wait to have two little boys.

I am just wondering if anyone has suggestions for best gifts for a 2 year old boy. We don't buy toys very often so I always want them to be really good. What are the best toys out there. I am thinking a play kitchen? Play food? I just want to know if there is anything that Mason should not be going without. K- please help.
