Around the house Randomness

I always like to document how we are spending our time at home since that is where we spend most of our time. Here is the latest.
We fall asleep on dad

We try to wak daddy up
We put diapers on monkeys and give them hugs. Mason wanted me to put a diaper on this monkey and then he said he pooped and he felt his bum. I laughed so hard. He also got tissues and wiped his nose. He is going to be the best helper ever when this baby comes.

We try on every shoe in the closet and walk around....even the really huge ones.

Precious pics! And i am always amazed when I come to your blog and see the newborn pic of Mason. He's changed so much! i can't believe he was ever that little.

I was so hoping you weren't going to say that! I agree, all the ones out now aren't as cute and vintage-y. Maybe I'll have luck on our vacation...

What a cute little guy you have! What until you have this second little guy and everytime he toots Mason tells you he has pooped! Walker thinks it's cool Mason has a monkey because Walker has quite a few, all named Joe. Mason is going to be a great big brother.

I just want to reach out and hug and kiss that little one. Wish we all lived closer. Broke my heart when you said he calls out for us. We had so much fun with him.

Baby time!

So, I had my first appointment today to confirm that baby #2 is on its way. Sure enough, a quick little heartbeat was going strong. We can't wait, well, actually, I think we can. It will be much easier to wait for this one seeing that we have an 18 month old that keeps us very busy, but we are really excited for it to come around December 2nd ish. We are really excited for Mason to be a big brother because he is so sweet with babies these days and seems to actually enjoy them. I am 12 weeks and feeling pretty rotten. I guess that just helps me know that things are going okay with baby. Poor Mason has been watching alot of TV in the mornings and has not had as much play time with mom. It makes me sad, but you do what you gotta do to get by. Deep down i kind of want another boy, so I am pretty confident that it is a girl. Dan doesn't care at all, and I really don't either, but for some reason girls scare me. We are excited to see what we are going to get this time ...

Yes, it's true, we are having another boy. I always imagined having two little boys running around and we are so excited for Mason to have a little bro. There are so many fun things to look forward to with having little boys so close. Can't wait for all of the baseball games, basketball games, guitar and drum lessons.....or ballet lessons if they so choose. Whatever the case, we can't wait to have two little boys.

Presents for Mason

I am just wondering if anyone has suggestions for best gifts for a 2 year old boy. We don't buy toys very often so I always want them to be really good. What are the best toys out there. I am thinking a play kitchen? Play food? I just want to know if there is anything that Mason should not be going without. K- please help.
