I haven't put up pics in a long time, so here are some of the most recent. Mason just went up to Dan with his tie around his neck and was trying to tie it. It was so dang cute. He loved wearing it around and cried when we had to take it off so he could help with the dishes. He also has just started wanting to read the paper with Dan every Sunday. He just sits on his lap or next to him and they read, for a really long time too. I love that he has started copying so much of what we do, especially Dan. I always worried that he would be a momma's boy because of the nursing and rocking, but in the last couple of months he just is dad's little buddy and copies everything Dan does. He grabs Dan's razor any chance he gets and says, "shave" and touches his cheeks. I love it. He is at such a fun age and we just love him more each day. This one is a special little boy and brings joy to anyone in his path.




Mason had his friend Maddie over and these kids just love each other. Dan's pretty cute too.

Mason is such a doll! It looks like such a sweetie! I can't believe I've never met him, I'm so lame. We need to come see you all. I also love those cute little red striped pants in that last pic.

What a mean mom! Making him take off his tie to do the dishes! I thought that kind of stuff didn't come until they were like 13! :) Just kidding. Mason is adorable!

Baby time!

So, I had my first appointment today to confirm that baby #2 is on its way. Sure enough, a quick little heartbeat was going strong. We can't wait, well, actually, I think we can. It will be much easier to wait for this one seeing that we have an 18 month old that keeps us very busy, but we are really excited for it to come around December 2nd ish. We are really excited for Mason to be a big brother because he is so sweet with babies these days and seems to actually enjoy them. I am 12 weeks and feeling pretty rotten. I guess that just helps me know that things are going okay with baby. Poor Mason has been watching alot of TV in the mornings and has not had as much play time with mom. It makes me sad, but you do what you gotta do to get by. Deep down i kind of want another boy, so I am pretty confident that it is a girl. Dan doesn't care at all, and I really don't either, but for some reason girls scare me. We are excited to see what we are going to get this time ...

Yes, it's true, we are having another boy. I always imagined having two little boys running around and we are so excited for Mason to have a little bro. There are so many fun things to look forward to with having little boys so close. Can't wait for all of the baseball games, basketball games, guitar and drum lessons.....or ballet lessons if they so choose. Whatever the case, we can't wait to have two little boys.

I am just wondering if anyone has suggestions for best gifts for a 2 year old boy. We don't buy toys very often so I always want them to be really good. What are the best toys out there. I am thinking a play kitchen? Play food? I just want to know if there is anything that Mason should not be going without. K- please help.
