Spring Break!!

So, I really am going to get into blogging. I'm sorry that I have been so bad, but very soon I will be done with work and will have a minute to do it. We are actually in Portland right now. My sister bought me a ticket for my birthday, so we bought Dan one and came up here. It has been really fun just hanging out with Natalie. Mason has been so awesome, he is just getting so mellow now that he is a little older. So, my birthday was awesome. Dan took me out to a really nice dinner and his brother and sister'in'law watched Mason. We had not been out together without Mason since he was born in November, so that was really good. We both ventured out and got seafood and it was so good. Dan made us get all dressed up because that is my favorite thing to do. So, he wore a suit and I wore a nice dress and it was so so fun. Anyway, I really like my hubby.
Dan is graduating in a few short months and we can not wait. He has an interview for a job in Idaho Falls on Monday. Its a second interview so we are kind of excited. We will see, but it sure would be nice to be closer to family.
So, I am pretty excited because, Lisa, your blog opened a whole new world of blogs that I get to sneak around on. I love seeing all of these people I have not seen since high school. If you see my blog you should totally comment because I would love to hear from all of you!! Well, only 3 more weeks until I am a stay at home mommy and a blogger. I can not wait!!

Woo-hoo! You finally updated! I'm glad you are having fun at Nat's house! Hi Nat! I hope we get to see you when Dan has his interview on Monday. We are hoping that you can move up here to IF too. That would be Great to have you so close. Give us a call if you need somewhere to hang out while Dan has his interview. :)

Baby time!

So, I had my first appointment today to confirm that baby #2 is on its way. Sure enough, a quick little heartbeat was going strong. We can't wait, well, actually, I think we can. It will be much easier to wait for this one seeing that we have an 18 month old that keeps us very busy, but we are really excited for it to come around December 2nd ish. We are really excited for Mason to be a big brother because he is so sweet with babies these days and seems to actually enjoy them. I am 12 weeks and feeling pretty rotten. I guess that just helps me know that things are going okay with baby. Poor Mason has been watching alot of TV in the mornings and has not had as much play time with mom. It makes me sad, but you do what you gotta do to get by. Deep down i kind of want another boy, so I am pretty confident that it is a girl. Dan doesn't care at all, and I really don't either, but for some reason girls scare me. We are excited to see what we are going to get this time ...

Yes, it's true, we are having another boy. I always imagined having two little boys running around and we are so excited for Mason to have a little bro. There are so many fun things to look forward to with having little boys so close. Can't wait for all of the baseball games, basketball games, guitar and drum lessons.....or ballet lessons if they so choose. Whatever the case, we can't wait to have two little boys.

Presents for Mason

I am just wondering if anyone has suggestions for best gifts for a 2 year old boy. We don't buy toys very often so I always want them to be really good. What are the best toys out there. I am thinking a play kitchen? Play food? I just want to know if there is anything that Mason should not be going without. K- please help.
