Meet Lizzie
So, the boys have been begging me for a LONG time to get them a puppy. And, by boys I mean my little boys and my big boy. Dan grew up with house dogs and loved them. I tried to warn him that he didn't remember how much work they were because his mom was undoubtedly doing all of the annoying stuff. He insisted. So, since our kids are older and we will have a pretty big gap between Logan and our next baby, we figured it should be now or never. And, obviously NOW won out. I saw this little sweetie online and decided we had to have her. She is a cockapoo and the boys let everyone know that. She is not introduced as Lizzie, it's usually, "this is our cockapoo. We decided if a boy is going to have a dog, it might as well be a cockapoo. It sounds like a potty word but they can say it whenever they want with no repercussions. What could be more perfect? So, here we are, a dog family. I almost cried the first few days, but Dan is being awesome just like he promised and takes her out early in the morning. It is hard having someone to worry about all the time again. It kind of makes me crazy on a daily basis BUT......the happiness she brings to my boys and Dan...and even me, is worth the hastle. Logan says how much he loves our cockapoo and how grateful he is that we have a dog every.single.day. Probably 5 times a day. The other day he got in trouble and went straight to Lizzie's bed to be consoled. It's pretty sweet. They are really good with her. They give her slightly too much attention, but are pretty great for the most part. We love our new adventure.
PS- she really doesn't shed. It's not a myth. I haven't seen a hair in my house. AWESOME!!

Logan finally got some time with Lizzie and couldn't resist climbing on it her bed
He found it so comfy, he just couldn't get out
Mason is so great with Lizzie. Dogs have always made Mason really nervous, but he just picked her right up and hasn't had a problem since.
Ooh, I love that smile.
Logan's not quite sure what he thinks about the puppy getting all of this attention, but he sure loves her anyway.
