No worries, I do love this sweet boy just as much as I love Mason. I was a little nervous because I really love Mason and wondered how I could possibly love another boy as much. So easy. This little guy is so dang sweet and such a wonderful addition to our family.

He looks alot like Maon did, but has lighter hair...and a hint of red for sure.

I completely remember having that "feeling of how can I love another as much" when I was pregnant with Roscoe and even though I knew better I felt the same way during this pregnancy. Amazing how your love just grows instantly. I love the pics of that munchkin! Will he let you put him down at all, because Miss Gretta must be held all the time! Easy as can be as long as she is in my arms! Love the baby stage of NO SLEEP! Okay and your comment on my blog of "Holy Crap" has me laughing late at night, because HOLY CRAP is right!! Was there any way of truly preparing for that!??? We must get eachother's numbers or email so we can chat about that "blessed experience." AUUUGHHHHHH!!! If I get pregnant anytime soon, I think I will cry my eyes out just imagining going through that pain again. SOmehow it still managed to be an AMAZING experience. I can't quite pinpoint what it was...but I am a changed woman. Loved it and hated it all at once.

Oh Dana,
He is absolutely darling. I'm so glad you posted more pics of him up close. I really can't wait to see him. I love the hair. Caden has a lot of hair as well, also with a hint of red. Gotta love it. Miss you. Are you surviving the first couple of weeks? It sounds like you are doing so with flying colors. So glad. Can't wait until we're sitting next to each other with babies in arm. So Sweet! I love it! He seems like a little angel sleeping like that!:) I remember feeling so bad for Zach(my 2nd) because i just knew i wasn't going to love him as much! But as you know that isn't true and so with the 3rd you enjoy everything more because you know you can love more than one:)

Baby time!

So, I had my first appointment today to confirm that baby #2 is on its way. Sure enough, a quick little heartbeat was going strong. We can't wait, well, actually, I think we can. It will be much easier to wait for this one seeing that we have an 18 month old that keeps us very busy, but we are really excited for it to come around December 2nd ish. We are really excited for Mason to be a big brother because he is so sweet with babies these days and seems to actually enjoy them. I am 12 weeks and feeling pretty rotten. I guess that just helps me know that things are going okay with baby. Poor Mason has been watching alot of TV in the mornings and has not had as much play time with mom. It makes me sad, but you do what you gotta do to get by. Deep down i kind of want another boy, so I am pretty confident that it is a girl. Dan doesn't care at all, and I really don't either, but for some reason girls scare me. We are excited to see what we are going to get this time ...

Yes, it's true, we are having another boy. I always imagined having two little boys running around and we are so excited for Mason to have a little bro. There are so many fun things to look forward to with having little boys so close. Can't wait for all of the baseball games, basketball games, guitar and drum lessons.....or ballet lessons if they so choose. Whatever the case, we can't wait to have two little boys.

I am just wondering if anyone has suggestions for best gifts for a 2 year old boy. We don't buy toys very often so I always want them to be really good. What are the best toys out there. I am thinking a play kitchen? Play food? I just want to know if there is anything that Mason should not be going without. K- please help.
