What's up with the Murphy's?
We have been really busy lately......with hanging out and playing....the good kind of busy. We had a wonderful holiday season full of lots of family, friends, food and fun (I call them the 4 F's...not really, but that is pretty neat that they all start with F)!!! Here are some illustrations. I always figure that pictures can tell the story so much better.
Next, we picked up Aunt Natalie at the airport and we got lots of time with her. You know when aunt Nat is around that there will be plenty of smoochies. Most kids hate it.....Mason instigates it. He finally learned how to close his mouth and kiss....thanks Heavens for that.
Then, Santa came to visit us and Grandma and Grandpa's and he brought Mason some pretty great stuff.....like boxes and wrapping paper....and candy. We thought Mason didn't like candy....we were wrong...very very wrong.
We ate so much delicious food we could hardly stand it...or fit it in our mouths apparently. Mason didn't realize that wheat thins are not meant to be eaten in one bite when you are a baby.
Then we sat in piles of Nintendo games and played our drums.....wait a minute....just Mason did that. This is what happens every single day atleast 10 times. The second we clean it up, he is at it again. It keeps him entertained though.
Then we threw lots more laundry on the ground and climbed in the basket....oh again, just Mason. This is his new favorite place, our closet in piles of clothes, I really do laundry...somehow it just keeps coming though.

Then we give more smoochies to inanimate objects.
...And more smooches. I just looked over at him and he was just giving the sweetest, most gentle little kiss. He is such a little tender heart and will give anyone a kiss any time of the day. We were at church and he leaned over to give the lady next to us a kiss after chatting with her for a minute or two. He would never kiss a total stranger :)
We started the holidays off right with some core training. Mason is great on his ball....mom not as great on hers. Actually Mason just found his long lost ball in our closet and decided to sit on it while throwing laundry everywhere.
